東京都。都市のなかを歩く。人と向かい合い写真を撮る。彼らは僕の前に立ち、生きることの素晴らしさ、一瞬の輝き、人間という存在の素晴らしさ、すべてを包み込むような命の力——たくさんのことを僕に教えてくれる。

めまぐるしく変化していく都市のなか、人間の欲望の渦のなかで、一瞬の煌めきのような儚さを持つ人々を記録していくことで、僕は生きていることの意味を、そして人間という生き物のことを思考し続けたい。

Tokyo. I walk through the city. I face people and photograph them. As they stand before me, they teach me so much — the beauty of being alive, the brilliance of a single instant, the wonder of being human, a power of life that seems to enfold everything.

Within a city that shifts at a dizzying pace, within the swirl of human desire, I record people who carry a fragility like a momentary glimmer. Through that act, I want to keep thinking about what it means to be alive — and about this creature called the human being.
